There is a reason why Dale Earnhardt has been featured on Wheaties® four times over the past two decades. His seven cup series championships and 76 victories are the highlights of one of the greatest careers in motorsports history. But that is not why he makes his fifth appearance on the box. Dale Earnhardt grew up in a racing family in Kannapolis, NC. He learned from his parents the importance of hard work and determination. He took those lessons to the race track, where his hard-charging, no-holds-barred attitude earned him the nickname “The Intimidator®.”

Hall Of Fame Legacy

He created a legacy of achievement that still stands strong today. Dale never quit. Dale never gave up. He pushed himself, his crew and motorsports to an entirely new level of excellence. He was a champion in every sense of the word. That is why Dale was inducted into the inaugural class of the Hall of Fame.
